Who I am

Hi, I'm Rebecca — a young artist from Croydon with a love for capturing moments in paint.

I began painting truly for myself  to create little mementos of holidays, wanting to hold onto the places and memories that meant something to me. Over time, I started to find just as much inspiration closer to home — especially on quiet dog walks through my familiar beautiful woodland. Recently I’ve begun a series of snowier, white-capped paintings from my time in a French ski resort and are some of my favourite pieces.

A young woman with long ginger hair taking a mirror selfie with her phone, smiling, in a room with yellow walls.
A watercolor painting of a large tree with sprawling branches and green leaves, overlooking a grassy field with red-roofed houses in the background at sunset.
Three young adults stand together on a large rock in an open field with cloudy sky above.

I studied art at school and later graduated in architecture, but painting has always been my way to unwind from the busyness of everyday life. I mostly work in gouache — I love its silky, soft finish that sits somewhere between the watercolours and acrylics I grew up using.

Each piece I create is a quiet celebration of place, memory, and emotion — and I'm so happy to share them with you.
